Pick your CPU architecture. Each zip has builder + stub + demo.pub + SDK. Qt GUI is in the x64 package only. Same demo keys as macOS.

Quick path

  1. Get a demo key (email + on-page copy).
  2. Windows: use the shipping GUI/CLI/SDK. macOS: download the beta zip and open AkiMacProtector.
  3. Paste the serial in Licensing (demo.pub is prefilled).
  4. Click Activate (host) — online ticket is written as .aktk.

Beta notes

  • macOS and Linux builds are beta — expect rough edges. Windows is the mature product.
  • Demo keys expire; do not ship production builds under a demo serial.
  • Gatekeeper: run Open-Mac.command (in the zip) or right-click → Open. Notarized builds need a paid Apple Developer Program.
  • Linux zip is CLI-only (no GUI) with dual-arch protect + virt. Demo RSA/activate; use keys/demo.pub in the zip.
